Interpol at The Vic

Interpol has a clear and definite defined style. Unmistakable. Dark, seductive, sexy. A sound that intrigues and draws you in. Their live performance was everything and more. For their second night in Chicago, Interpol completely rocked The Vic.

I especially have to pay credit to lead vocals Paul Banks for being one of the few remaining baritones in the scene. It is very refreshing to hear something that really breaks through the mold of the typical indie rock music. It’s equally awesome to see a band member or two really working it on stage. Guitarist Daniel Kessler had the dancing shoes laced up tight. Constantly dancing throughout the show, he made it easy to dance along.

If you have picked up and listened to Pioneer of the Falls yet, get on it!
